I'm a newbie back yard smoker. Ive done allot of ribs and a couple of briskets, anyway I really enjoy smoking and I'm gathering material to build a smoker of my own, at the moment I have a hand me down electric vertical one.

Welcome to the site Tom, and there is nothing wrong with the Q that turns from a elec upright. Might not be able to cook as much and ya may not have as much fun tending a fire but in the end it still eats the same.

Glad you found the site, and we always look forward to seeing a new build.

We dont mind looking at food shots either. LOL
