Hello

Post by smokinJoe » August 23rd, 2013, 10:01 am

Just wanted to say hello. I have recently been really fired up about making my own smoker. I work in a fabrication / machine shop, where I am the plasma cutter operations manager. I also and the company's only certified welding inspector. I have been in the welding trade since 1990. I have plenty of know how on fabricating things, and limited knowledge on smokers and how the different types work. Looking forward to this journey.

SmokinJoe.

I was thinking of doing a stump original style. But I am open to anything.. I can draw it up, cut it out, weld it...pretty much anything fabrication wise. I am interested in the gravity fed style, but I am open to other ideas..

Glad you joined us! We will help all we can.

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
