Thanks for the warm welcome guys. As far as type I'm not sure what to call it but an upright style box. Was given a Smokey Mountain series upright little box a couple years ago and I'm loving it. Made a small charcoal basket below and it will run at 300 for 10 hours on one load. Problem is that its too small for a normal brisket and a whole rack of ribs so I have to trim them to fit. So I'm thinking of a wider and deeper box on same style design. There are many nice verticals out there but not open from bottom like I want plus I'm just a diy kinda guy.
