Introducing "SMAUG"

Post by stewy » July 14th, 2015, 4:05 pm

With the Plans from Smoker Plans I managed to put this together.
Insulated gravity smoker A.K.A - SMAUG
door frame wo latch plates.jpg
Look - I built a rectangle
frame1.jpg
more rectangles
maybe an arch1.jpg
Didn't go with this type arch
charcoal stack.jpg
4.5in chimney ho;e.jpg
This was fun to cut - NOT
chimney coupling.jpg
It has a solid bead all the way around. Add the chaulk to be 100%
Some insulation with strike plates.jpg
Charcoal stack with extension.jpg
Should've waited on the handle brackets
diffuser.jpg
Double insulation on top.jpg
I didn't know about the limit of attachments.
The outer skin is 16ga. aluminum with diamond plate doors.
