Hey guys, I've been lurking for a few months. I'm in Wichita, KS. I just finished up my first build, I'll post pictures/info when I get a chance, it'll be in the theme builds section :strongbad: ! New to smoking, made two pork butts and a fatty for the first cook, trying my hand at some more fatty's and ABT's tomorrow for the kiddos birthday party :BD: !

Welcome ... I'd love to try those ABT's. I read so much about them. Do the kids like those hot things?

They're not hot at all. Depends how well you clean the Japs. If you remove all the seeds and membrane, they taste like a glorified green bell pepper. Swing by Labor Day weekend. Probably Sunday. Bring the better half and whoever else is hungry. I'll be smoking some sort of dead animals and I'll do a batch of them as well. I'm itchin' to do brisket but ribs and chicken always go on.

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?
