New to BBQ / smoking - planning a 60 gallon build Oakbank MB CA

Post by mbmopar » March 17th, 2017, 7:49 pm

Hi all,

I'm new to the whole BBQ / smoker grill genre, I've been looking into building one from scratch and pleased by what I've seen on these forums .

Lots of helpful info and suggestions, plans, recipes, etc.

I enjoy the assistance offered by folks in forums like these and look forward to learning more during my build this spring ( if it ever warms up) !

I do a bit of everything, welding, machining, construction, mechanical, etc.

I'm happy in the garage!

Thanks for the read!

Welcome! As you have probably seen, this place is like a smoker building virtual library. So much knowledge and information. I joined recently and have received a ton of helpful advice for my current build and have quite a few ideas and plans for future builds. Post up pictures when you get started!
