Thanks Smurf. I tend to over think things some times. I like the way you made your fire box  . I might have to borrow that design one day. The vent on the side is a good looking design.

Good call on not wanting to rush things.

Looks great so far. I really like the boxed legs.

Sorry i haven't updated in awhile. I have been very busy at work and around the house. I did get the first coat of firepaint on the pit.Image. I also got the heat exchanger in and running  Image. I got my temp ports put in Image. I am going to run digital temp gauges. I got the front painted on the front storageImage. I have everything to finish the paint, I just have to have a weekend free to do it! :oopssign: Last night I got the trailer up in the air and supported so i can sand and paint the underside. I am going to use POR15.Image. I am picking up 2 more stands today. I don't like the way it's sitting in the front. I have chains holding it in the middle but i wan't it to be totally secure in the front. I have stands in the back. I don,t need this thing to fall on my nogging while i'm under it :headwall: So what do you men think? ideas sugestions are alway welcome.

I'm putting together a material list for the back gate and the roof this week also. I will pick it up in the next week or so.

:LG:

That is one nice cooking rig you got there.

I find that chains to the hook rather than to a lifting bar gives me better control. Just my $0.02

Current Smokers: Backyard RF Offset and Hybrid RF Offset trailer rig with Cowboy cooker and fish fryer, always room for more........

I would but I wouldn't be able to swing the arms out due to the tires on the trailer. I tried everthing to to do it that way. It's very secure. Thanks for looking and input Rodcrafter.

I got the underside and outside painted this last sunday and last night. Image.Image. I'm glad to see it on its wheels  . I will be finishing the paint this week. I tell ya that POR15 goes a loonnggg way! i bought a gallon of it and have only use about half. Word of the wise when using this, Don't get it on your hands! :oopssign: It does not come off. I wear latex gloves when painting but it never fails, If there is paint around I always seem to end up with it on me. I also got the trailer wired up with new led lights.

Thanks  . The lift comes in very handy at times. I am going to pull the pit out this evening and do some shop clean up. The front of the trailer were the big emblem is holds the 2500watt inverter and 2 car batteries. You slid it up and out to get to the stuff on the inside. That emblem took me days to paint! :wtf:

I got it mostly done this weekend. I got the floor in and i torched the boards to give it a worn look. I also branded some logos in to the wood. I got the sink painted and mounted. I have a small list left to do but i will get it done by Thursday. We got a comp this Friday and Saturday! I'm kinda nervous and excited about this comp. It's my first one to enter and not be a spectator. We have this one and the small one i built earler. So here are the pics. ImageImageImage

I still need to put some more coatings on the floor this week but i'm sure it will get done. I will be putting on the roof and back gate in the near future. So what do yall think?
