Its been awhile since i've been on here. I have been very busy with work and working in my shop at home. It's also been very hot out so my build has been going slow. I finished the top this weekend thou. I have been working on it alittle at a time as it allows me. It will look like a chuck wagon top when the canvas gets stretched over the frame. I hope the pictures show up. I'm not really liking the imageshack thing. I;m kinda weak on the posting thing. I hope all is well with everybody.

Usually more beers than smoke.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to get the top painted tonight. I'm waiting on a quote for the canvas top. The top is going to be a Texas flag stretched over the steel structure. hence why i rolled the trusses and smoothed the ends.

I got the trailer and pit re-painted this past weekend. That was a chore for sure :headwall: . I am having a issue trying to find a company to put on the tarp. I don't know were to look. I was thinking a truck tarp company at first. I made some calls and they just want to cut the material and not install it. A uplostery shop sounds like this is were i need to be? Any of you men have any sugestions . I want the tarp to stretch over and wrap back around a be sewn back to it's self. I don,t want it to be removed to hall down the road but i want a thick material that will last being exposed to the Texas sun for years to come.

WHAT??? No pics after the paint job??? You should know the rules by now Charlie. ha ha

Up here in the north there are companies that make custom boat covers. That's who i would contact if I were looking for a custom tarp. Not sure if they have these business's in TX.

Sorry "clover ridge" I was wooped last night when i got done. I let it stay over night in my shop. I am going to pull it out today and grab some pics for the masses. :oopssign: I called around at lunch today and got a sticker shock :-o . First company said $950!! So i think i'm going to look some more. That company is a canvas, awning place. He specilizes in this stuff but i wasn't thinking it would be that hight since i fabed the top and sides. All they need to do is stretch the canvas over and wrep around the sides :?

I'm not surprised by the price. Anything custom will be expensive.
