Well I worked my tail off on it this past weekend. I sandblasted the pig.ImageImageImageImage. That paint was a pain in the rump to get off! i blasted the inside also. I got the sink and cutting board mocked up yesterday but forgot to get some pictures. I will take some tonight and post them tomorrow. I see the light at the end now  It is starting to look like a real pit instead of a aircompressor sitting on a trailer with a big a## pipe coming off it! Im grtting stoked to finish it. There is a comp coming up in March i want to enter.

Well i got the cutting table and sink in.ImageImageImage. I will do the plumbing when i get the deck down. Next step is to paint this pig  I got some 2000degree paint that will go on the firebox, but my question is "will automotive paint work on the pit?" I have about 8gallons of glossy black automotive paint and i am going to use it on the trailer. What have yall used that will hold up in the long run?

I also plated the front of the trailer for dry storage and to add some weight to the tonge. It's 1/8" steel. I got to ruff it up before primer. Thanks GATEWOOD IRON  I had the barstools laying around from a beerjoint we bought out towards the end of last year. I also got the beer cooler :kewl: My shop was transformed into shop/bar! I have atleast 40 beer signs and posters, flags etc...

Thanks for the props  . I picked up a pump yesterday from Harbor FreightImageImage. It will be used to pull the water from the coils that are going in front and under the fire box. If i calcuated it correctly there will be just under 30 gallons of water in a loop system. The water should get pretty hot?

I'm pretty sure it will work with hot water. If it doesn't then i'm out $18.00. I picked up the fittings last night to tie in the coils.

Well i have been working alot! I haven't done much to the pit but i did get the legs boxed in the other night.ImageImageImage. I am making a storage area under the tank to put wood or other things in there. I have to come up with a door? I used up my flap wheels so i still need to clean up the welds.

Thanks AR_Senior . I made up a front door last night after work. It have to get a hasp on my way home from work today to keep it closed. Here is some shots. One of the shots came out blurry for some reason. ImageImage. This is going to be for storage. It will lay all the way down to the deck. So what do yall think? I have decided to put on a canopy when i get the material gathered up. If i keep adding stuff i dont think it will pull out of my shop or down the road!!! :rulz:

UPDATE!! I have been working my hind end off at work lately and finally can get back to my pit. I got informed that i was entered in a cook-off next month on the 21st :grillin:. I am not going to rush to complete it because i have been working on it way too long to cut corners. I have the smaller2.0 that i built earlier to compete with if it come down to it. Enough of the b.s lets see some pictures!! Image Made a storage in the front to house the inverters and batteries. The door slides up and out. Image. Got the sink plumbed in.
ImageImageImage. I am at the fire box now. I am making a heat exchanger out of 1/2 copper that will be up against the firebox and under the fire box.
I preped the firebox and back of the pit and stack and painted it with 2000* paint. Image. It will be finished painted this coming weekend  . I'm getting so close i can smell the smoke :kewl: So what do you men think?
