My Intro into the awesome.....

Post by JJBass » July 5th, 2013, 9:58 pm

Hey All,

I've found this site by chance and actually should have found it a long time ago, but I bet my wife is glad I didn't. I've been grilling a long time, but have always wanted to build a smoker/cooker. Now that I'm at a stage in life where I can actually buy tools, and experiment with designs, I did the usual 'research' (i.e. 'I mean someone has to have info on the internet, right?') and it was destiny to run across this forum.

Looking at the forum topics, man this is where I should go if I die. All great topics and ones I didn't know others knew about. Really cool.

Ok, thanks for your time, I realize I didn't say much about myself, but I just wanted to see what you creative and food loving folks have/had for ideas. Hope that doesn't make anyone mad, but I feel it's better to borrow ideas from the pros and then post pics when I've actually done something, IMO.
Peace
Jeff

So what sort of build would you like ideas on? Something for the backyard or for a trailer or or or ? How many people will you be cooking for if that will help?

What can we talk you into? :D

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

Good Morning everyone,

BTW, Hahahahhaa LOL. I don't need much talking into, just gotta do it. :D, right Smokeone?

@ Rodcrafter, Actually I've seen so many great pics, ideas, and plans, that I know it will be a RF for sure and pretty basic. Just never knew there was so much info out there, finally. Would search every so often and come up with some info. But this place is like coming home after a long day and getting that ice cold beer. Just AWESOME!!

@ The Czar, pics will happpen, :)

@ Frank & Rev Mike, love your avatars

Thanks Culinairezaken, hello to you as well.

Peace
Jeff
