Looking to break into competitions

Post by KCTechGuy82 » July 30th, 2013, 10:25 pm

Hey guys...

I'm Mike from the KC area. I'm looking to get into competitions. I have a Good One Open Range and I was looking into making a UBS or 2 until I can afford to buy a single bigger smoker.

Is there anything in particular you guys would suggest doing on my first UBS build?

I would suggest this charcoal basket to make your life easier. It is my opinion that the charcoal basket is the heart of the UDS and a bad one makes a bad smoker.

UDS may be the only cooker you need for comps! a lot of teams only cook on them
