Aussie pit builder

Post by Hogpit » February 16th, 2018, 10:48 pm

Hello everyone. I build reverse flow pits as a side job and hope to some day do it full time. BBQ smoking is still a relatively new thing here in Australia so there is very little in the way of local forums to discuss and share ideas. I am very happy to have found a group that knows their way around smokers.

I thought this is the best spot to test if i have my image upload correct.

Image

Presuming it has display correctly, its a 30" x 6' RF with insulated firebox.

Edit: Thanks BigT, sorry about image size.

Welcome aboard!! There are a few guys on the forum from down your way so it seems to be catching on. Your picture didn't come through but it sounds like a nice size pit.

Mate, I just put the images as an attachement straight into the post thingey and have not had any issues so far. Perhaps check with Squiggle, he's in Tassie. He uses a different method of posting images

Testing, which image is visible? I can see both in preview, top is attachment and photo is much smaller and lower quality than dropbox.

I can see the top one. And when I click on it it gets big and the quality is excellent.

I’m getting all the pictures.

We seem to be having an issue with some people not getting all of them. I know frank said their was an issue with it a while back.

Does anybody have a best practice?

Great rig tho. Lot of work in it.
