Hello Everybody
I'm Bob not much at blogs but this is something worth talking about, I love to build things the bigger the better, Lucky enough that my boss and friend turned me on to this web site. Frank has a great vision, it seems like no one out there is willing to help with the build of a smoker. it’s like a family secret or something, we borrowed my friends smoker for my daughter’s birthday party and it was a hit! my friend Jim loves to cook, smoke, and eat, he makes the best brisket I have ever had. And that is how this whole thing got started, my wife does all the cooking so we don’t starve to death, but smoking has come along and now even I can cook! I started to build our smoker about two months ago when I can squeeze it in, I got an old trailer from someone then a old propane tank, (Very fun lighting it off) I used to work at a propane tank refurbishing plant so they showed us how to light them off safely (I guess it’s safe I'm still alive) I’ll try and load some pictures of it on tomorrow thanks to Frank we have some fire box plans and things will start moving along now Thanks again, this is going to be fun

Bob

Welcome to the site Bob, sounds like things are starting to work in your favor.
Smokin is awesome man, for me its almost as fun as building the rigs. Check out the other builds, never know when you may see something you can't live without.

Hope ya enjoy the site and good luck with the build.

Tom

Welcome to the site - can't wait to see the pictures. Everytime I look through the site I get a new idea. Come to think of it - this site could get expensive....Naaaah! :ymhug:

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D
