Got most of the skins on. Puff i used rivets and fireplace caulk 500 deg. Probably didn't need the Fire caulk I just wanted make sure it was all air tight in the insulated areas.
And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.

In scouting for supplies like handles and hinges, do yours have any nylon or plastic inside.. I found some steel and die cast chrome but the 5/16 pin is set into nylon bushings. Not sure how a hot spot will effect that design.
Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life
Nope...not me, I enjoy seeing the process and finished product and you have done one great job. Have you any experience with the paint discoloring around the hotter spots below?

I fired it yesterday for the first time . I didn't notice any issues yet. there is only one hot spot and that's on the burn side. probably about 12" in diameter. the rest of it was room temperature. Looks like its going to be a winner. now i have to tame this beast. thanks for all the good praise.
It's my first time post pictures, but are a few picture of my piper PIPER PA-34-200 Seneca airplane smoker. During this entente did 40 turkey legs, Chicken, burger, and a couple of pizzas.
Hope you like it.
