I just wish I had more time to finish this thing so I could be cooking on it. I already have some people interested in buying food from me.

I had an unexpected 1/2 day off yesterday and because we had some great weather I went home and did some work on the smoker. :kewl:

I attached the top and side fire box catches and cleaned and painted the first coat of paint. After cleaning up the edges and painting I realized I ground one edge too far and with the surface painted black the heat caused the edge to pop free in about a foot of the weld. :headwall:

Next up will be to clean and reweld the area and repaint. Hopefully will be able to finish it up this weekend and run a test fire next week. Still waiting for more nutserts to come in so I can finish the door seal plates.

Here is a picture since I haven't had one in awhile.

I can't wait to start mine after seeing yours come together so nicely. I like the addition of the CyberQ inset and the added Guru port. I'm thinking I'll definitely add that to my build! Looking great!

Thanks Rodcrafter I'll definitely scour the threads and find that before I begin my build. KarateDoc do you plan on putting a door of any kind on your inset area?

There is also going to be a rotisserie built in as well. Once I finish it I will post a video for it. I think you guys will like it.

Today I finished up rewelding the seam that popped loose and finished up the inside for the rotisserie. I am still waiting on the stainless nutserts so I can finish up the mount for the rotisserie on the outside. It does work and I will load the video in the next post. Now just to repaint the parts I redid and that will be it for today. Video is posted below.

Very nice. And thanks a lot. LOL. Now I am having visions of a pellet cabinet with a 4 shelf rotisserie. Very similar to your setup, just a few more extras.
