Smoker Clones are your own version of a commercially available Smoker. Examples are Stumps, Jambo, Backwoods, or any other you want to try to copy.

You will want to bend the handle of the fire grate so you can get a hold of it once it is in place.

Getting there... definitely coming along nicely.

Guys, when I am at the point of skinning the outside of the smoker, should I plug weld the skin on?

I welded the seams around all the outer panels then hit them with the angle grinder to make them look nice, takes a while but is well worth the time & effort to have a sleek looking outer skin. :kewl:

I found it easier to do a couple of plug welds before welding the seams. I also think it is a good idea in the long run in case the seams start to tear apart for some reason.

Just make sure the inside of the chute doesn't create a lip as it enters the FB and you won't have any bridging.
