Looks good....I agree tho, I hate mitred corners. Even with a cold cut chop saw, my angles are always a bit off. Good thing a wide weld covers it all up!

Here's a couple more pics of doors am thinking about adding a cross brace in cc door about the height of where the bottom rack is.

The main thing about any of the GF shoot/FB/ash box is make sure the inside is very evenly fitted. Any lips can cause bridging of charcoal and 1 cold smoker.

Been working on the charcoal chute and fire box I just have one question, is it okay to weld up the transfer tube before you put in the interior wall or is it easier after? Few more pics

I welded mine first, then ground weld down so it would fit through the cook chamber wall.

There is a page in the plans that tells you the order. I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.

I had all panels in there and tacked into place before any finishing welding. Official order is, small front plate along bottom, back, bottom, left, right, then roof.

Thanks guys for all the great feedback. Making a few mistakes here and there but nothing to serious.probably should have done some interior panels first but we'll get it done. Thanks again
