Backwoods clone sizing?

Post by rikun » February 24th, 2016, 4:06 pm

Hi,

I think my next build is going to be a Backwoods clone, at least as big as the Professional model.

I was wondering about the sizing, most of Backwoods are pretty square... Do you think I'd run into uneven temp issues if I made my clone's grates 35" x 25" or something like that?

To me it seems the design needs to be pretty square so all the walls give even radiant heat almost all the way to the center...?

I wouldn't want to make it too high, so that it can be loaded easily into smaller vans. But on the other hand I'd really need the capacity too..
