My double pan build and beyond..

Smoker Clones are your own version of a commercially available Smoker. Examples are Stumps, Jambo, Backwoods, or any other you want to try to copy.

My double pan build and beyond..

Post by chefbrady » March 23rd, 2017, 6:41 pm

I purchased plans from smokerbuilder.net for this double pan gf smoker.
With all of the info here i was able to end up with this Cadillac unit...Image

I am going to use this commercially at the golf course and for catered events and competition.

The cc and racks are all stainless.
We shortened the door as per @karatedoc posts from his biuld.
Also added the recessed panel and probe bushing for the cyberq that karatedoc added.
We added 1/2 pipe chases for the cyberq power and fan cables and evem a custom bracket for the plug on the rear, so its super tidy.

I am really happy with the first 2 test cooks

 Great looking unit. And the Q-view is really great as well. Well done, take a bow.

Cant golf. May as well fire up the BBQ.
Experimenting with halved grass fed beef shoulder rolls.
Also trying out pitboss / Louisiana grill charcoal for thr first time.
Anyone else using it??

Should be pretty tasty! ImageImageImage
