Just got and installed my baffle plate on my highland, had trouble getting the end closest to the firebox in , the plate needed to be about a heavy 1/16th of inch narrower but i got it in but its tight. Had to kind of use a mallet to scoot it down into place at the firewall.
so now you can't install the brackets to hold the two pieces together but ii am going to use a couple of long strips of flat stock and screw them down with self tapping screws(yes I am going to drill a smaller starter hole in it. Tried to screw it to the wall and it brings the middle up too much so I'm going to use some gasket material to make the gap smaller. It looks great and the quality is fantastic.
