Weekend Fun on the Range

Post by MattS » July 17th, 2011, 8:48 pm

Had to go out and try out a new barrel for my contender so I grabbed a few more guns and the kids and off we went. I have been moving the kids (daughter 9, son 6) up the ranks from the Red Ryder and the airsoft stuff to some real guns. After letting them shoot a 22 for a while, I grabbed the .357 and loaded up some .38 Specials for them to try out for the first time. They loved it but didn't bring out the magnums yet. The Specials were kicking hard enough.

This is my daughter wanting to shoot the Contender. I just put a 14" 45-70 on it. I just don't think she is ready for it. BTW, what this thing does to a milk jug at 100 yards is so cool, I wish I had it on video.

Here are a couple videos of the kids taking their very first shots with the Taurus.
