I had never built one or had any plan when we started, a lot of good guess. Someone asked my son how much he had in it and he told them 3 cans of paint. He was given 2 sheets of 10 ga. and the rest I had here.
A little up date on the bumper, It's laying on the ground right now. The boy was driving down a street here in town on Dec. 2 and an old lady didn't stop at a stop sign and he hit her at the fornt wheel on the drivers side. The hit broke the passinger wheel off and spun her jeep around hitting him in the passinger side of his pu. I beleave that if not for the bumper the whole front end of his rig would be a mess. The hit bent the mounts and bent the L. lower corner a little and 1 weld broke. He is going to be able to repair the body and we will be able to re do the bumper in a few hours work and back on it goes.
Then Dec.15 he hed a horse go down on him and the end result is he has a 4 in. screw going from his elbow into his forarm a plate and 15 screws above the elbow. Th Dr. said he hit the ground hard enough that some of the bone turned to dust or something it was gone. But he is doing good, took the wraps off and Jan 5 and told him to get to bending it.
He's getting along great for what has happened to him. Doing PT a couple of times a week. right now they are trying to get the movement back, which is comming along fairly well. Was told not to lift over 5 lbs.. He has been our complainer growing up but through this, I couldn't beleave how he has taken it. And no bitching or at least very little. Oh and I forgot he also broke his pelvis on the L. side. But that seems to be doing good. He ca n't wait to get back on the horse and correct the no stop problem.
