wonder if you are ready to let the cat out of the bag yet and give us at least an idea of city/state? I have a cross country trip with the trailer tentatively planned for May but might be able to make things work.

Alternatively, is there a chance you might be doing something later in the may/june time frame that might work better for my trip? Either way, my route takes me right thru St Louis....might need to stop by and finally meet the crew.

I know we are planning to see if we can reserve the location for use in late April. It is looking like Mid-Missouri near HQ but not at HQ. Hopefully TheCzar and Tom will have answers by next week.

Tomorrow is a busy day but I will try and squeeze in arrangement details for .... Not the 28th.

I am going to plan the 21 st weekend.

At this point there is only 2 options....the 21 st or the 14th.

By this weekend I will have a list built for the what to do's

As senior planning manager.......

Speaking for smokerbuilder. We would like to actually have a plan. Thursday is a done deal.

Friday and Saturday we are open to a main meat course selection. Which smokerbuilder will provide. Guest are welcome to cook any items they wish, access to a superb meat supplier is available, let us know if you need something special.

I need at least 2 quality minded folks that are willing to call them selves pit tenders / monitors. We welcome all to try there hand at running our pits, the near miss grease fire at the last gathering has promoted the need for a pit tender to be nearby keeping a mindful eye on things.

I am working on getting 2 young kids hired for Friday and Saturday to take care or pre meal prep and then to monitor temps and then bag and refrigerate left overs. This is to avoid the disaster of the Sunday bag and tag all the leftovers.

I am looking for a volunteer to be in charge of fire starting and maintenance for our evening fires.

Let me know what is desired for breakfast, such as what day is tart day. Pork sausage and pork belly to be provided by smokerbuilder.

These efforts are a critical need for us to be able to continue the gathering tradition.

Every member of this forum is greatly appreciated and needed to make our world revolve. With that said we can't be running around like a scalded dog [Frank] to name one. We need to spend some time with our members.

My next post is a time line. Please let me know ideas and thoughts

We would actually like to plan at least two group meals.... Fri and sat. With an actual plan to eat Time.

Thursday afternoon and evening is burgers, brats and such. Most will be wore out from the travel.

Friday

Breakfast --- prob semi dirty eggs and bacon

Lunch. ----- burgers . Unless someone wants to choose something different

Dinner ---- one main course meat please. With many sides.


Saturday

Breakfast ----- prob tarts

Lunch ----- burgers . Unless someone wants to choose something different

Dinner ------ one main course meat please. With many sides and dessert

Breakfast ---- dirty eggs and tortillas.

I see Tom has been doing some footwork. Good job! So the 21st is the weekend, cool now where is it I'm guessing since you have a great meat supplier it's going to be in your area right? My wife isn't going this time so I might have to fly so what I bring will be nothing. I will be glad to cook, tend fires, tend smokers, I will plan on getting there around noon Thursday. If you need the recipe for the tarts or corn bread or any of that stuff I will be happy to supply it and pay for the items when I get there. I can buy some ribs when I get there if we can get Mike Spearman to cook them. lol Those pork chops were awesome, maybe we can get Aaron to send some of his rub if he can't come.

Nice time in the works for sure.
