you know the part where you hit "submit" and it comes up and says another user has posted since your reply, but since we are always in a hurry and confident we didn't mess up so we hit the next button before we read the notification so we lose everything we just typed?????


anyway- I found out how to turn it off..... for me!

I'm not sure WHAT you are turning off - the notification? so it will post anyway? or it will take you back to your entry screen so you can hit submit again?

by turning this thing off, your post will be submitted anyway and you will not be notified that someone else posted since you started your reply unless you read it again.

currently, you hit reply or start typing in the reply editor. during that time someone else posted a reply. now you hit submit and you EXPECT it to go to the screen that says "go to your post or return to the forum last visited" BUT instead it says "someone else has replied since you posted" and you didn't see it said that, so you hit "view unread posts at the top of the screen and lose the post you tried to make.

Finally I have found my niche on this site

I say turn it off, at worst I duplicate what someone else just said but I do that all the time and this way my post doesn't get deleted because of impatience. Sometimes its hard to get those words back in place just how you had them the first go round ...not all my thoughts stay organized long enough to write down twice.
