Trouble entering type

While typing the little black vertical line thingy that tells you where the next letter goes, sorry I don't know what it's called, disappears from my screen.
While typing it takes a while for the letters to appear, I can get a few letters ahead of what's on the screen. I'm not a fast typer
While backspacing the letters disappear slowly and continue to disappear after I've stopped backspacing.
While scrolling the screen scrolls erratically then continues to scroll after I stop turning the wheel.

I don't have the problems on any other sites or when working on or off line anywhere else.
Am I doing something wrong or is my computer just too slow for this site.

I'm not a computer guy and am more at home with a micrometer and a torque wrench than I am with a keyboard.

I have never had that problem, but maybe you could dump your cookies and try it again.

I don't really know what cookies are, other than what one may heave after drinking too much tequila.
Like I said, I'm not computer savy, but thanks I'll google cookies and find out.

Oh sorry it is temporary memory files, if you have an windows computer you would find the internet options tab then when it opens it will give you a choice of other tabs. But if you look down and to the right about 1/2 way down there is a button that says delete. Press that button and the next one will ask if you want to delete those items you choose yes. If it takes more than a few seconds it is over due.

I've had that issue on my apple products. I usually have to shut down and restart.

I've had similar issues with the 4th generation iPad. It would take 2-3seconds for the letters to appear with the cursor ( that vertical line thing) I shut it down, clear out the junk that must have built up, and re-start. Problem solved

Well I found I have a cleaner program that gets rid of cookies and temp files, I use it every day so it's not that.
I did find a place on this site that offered to remove cookies, I think it was at the bottom of the main index page, I clicked yes and got 'are you sure?' I clicked yes. It seemed to help a bit, the cursor [thank you] is there about half the time now. Strange it only happens on this site. I'll try to find the offer place and try again.
