I know down here on the Alabama BBQ trail, a pro team can enter back yard events if they haven't made a money call at any previous pro events not sure about being entered for both at the same time thing. Sounds like they are struggling for entry fees maybe but I am not the know all on the comp rules stuff by any means?

If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

I think Solo is probably correct (annoying isn't it?) ….
I've turned down backyard invites and was in trouble until I explained why … then they started to appreciate the logic behind it. In athletics you can only cross that bridge once and done - pro class from that point on…. but I've never heard any sanctioning body "Officially" rule on it. :D

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D
Current smokers: Egor (trailered RF) and Easybake (tabletop pellet drive)
