Chicken question

Post by Elkslayer » June 4th, 2014, 10:24 pm

What brand of chicken do you all like? Also, how about air or water chilled chicken?

We've been using Amish Farms and have had pretty good luck. Not sure I understand your chilling chicken question.

My wife picks them up at Aldi's, not sure of the brand though. They are usually 5-6 lbs. and very good. I also don't understand the chilling part.

Is it normal for one testicle to be larger than the other two?

Well there has been some discussion amongst some teams here in my region on air chilled vs water chilled. Some are saying air chilled takes on more brine than those that have been water chilled. Some have even gone to weighing the thighs before and after to prove the point. Wondering if anybody else has heard this topic as of late.

Heard of it but never really looked into it.
