Thanks! She's still freakin heavy! Never built a fire rack before. I just went with what I had seen on here and asked folks. Yea we had to improvise on the rollers. Had 4 ended up needing 6 to keep it from tipping to bad.
Been debating on latches. Looked at several online. Thought about fab latches. Then I looked at our dump trucks the other day. We use safety latches (latch on door) to keep from spilling waste while in transit. I thgt why heck that will work perfect! IMO
Yea I've thgt abt that. Prolly will add a spring handle to it.
Got some sweet news Friday. The company I work for is going to donate a trailer to the cause. It's a lube trailer. It's very heavy built. It's only a few years old. They are going to a lube truck for safety reasons. They have had issues with guys pulling it.
This issue is the reason they no longer want to use it as a lube trailer. Best I could tell all the was damaged on the trailer was the storage cabinet. Trailer got to fish tailing guy lost control trailer shoved him off the interstate. He was pulling it to fast and the containers weren't balanced.
Truck was totaled. Trailer shoved em off the interstate. Minor hills here in NW Louisiana. The guy was driving too fast for the load. IMO. Very fortunate no one was hurt. No other vehicles involved.
Glad no one was hurt. These events suck and really disrupt operations. On the other hand, your cooker can use this kind of trailer. Certainly has load capacity.
Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life
