He would be in the smoker!! ;)
I did a shoulder off of a bear one time and it was delicious. Used a peach rub!

Look up recipes for Bear... :D

<chuckle> My [relatively] new neighbor is a bit of the outdoorsy type. I told him I'd smoke pretty much anything he brought home, whitetail, salmon, halibut, squirrel (okay, we've already got half of those in the back yard,) but I'd draw the line at skunk.)

When I tell my son ‘not to poke the bear today’ I’m referring to my wife. That takes it to a whole new level.

We have some huge black bears down here in Alabama but thankfully we don't have any brown bears.

While snapping the first picture on this page, I was 6 feet away from him with the slider between us and I thought that was scary. Then one evening just about dusk, the cats woke me on the couch cause he was there agine. This time the door was open, only the screen was closed. Not a hunter myself but I do have a big gun in my room, so I slowly but surely went for it. I was able to shoo him away by yelling at him from the slider in my room.
Needless to say, Ima tad more careful after that.
