Hi everyone

Post by Pete78 » August 26th, 2018, 9:12 am

Hi everyone and thanks for the add

I am new to smoking and I plan to build my first smoker soon. I am a Welder, Fabricator and licenced car and truck technician. I used to own a fab shop and still have all the equipment. I have been reading and learning lots but I am sure I will have some questions. I hope I can help with the knowledge I have of fabricating and welding. Thanks in advance for all the help. Have a great day

Welcome to the crew. Very handy still having all the fabrication gear. Any particular type of smoker you are yearning to build?

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford

Will be building a RF. Just not too sure if I want to go Octagon or square with the CC. Round pipe is a bit expensive here in Canada. I do have a CNC table so the cutting part should be easy

A buddy of mine came out to an Oregon get together last year from Chicago and as an initiation he had to try a swig of my special moonshine. That baby picture is exactly what his face looked like after trying it....I love that picture too, so I made it mine!
