Can anyone help me out with the throat i did all the cals and got 16.78 inches for my throat on a half moon so i centered on my fb and how do i get the half moon just measure down 5 inches and leave one inch for the grease trap ? Thank you in advanced for the help heres my numbers.

If you're building a RF you don't need a grease dam at the throat because you'll have one at the end of the BP. Have you seen the Smokerbuilder calculators that Pete designed ? They are a little easier to use, here's a linkhttp://www.smokerbuilder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=144&t=5474

The tank is 156 gallons the fb is 24x24x24 diameter of stack 6in

What are the measurements on those lines ? The bottom line looks way too big just eyeballing it, the top line looks close but I can't say for sure.

The bottom one is 8 and 3/8 and the top line is 5

Pete said the top cut should be 22'' wide with the bottom 7'' deep. He designed a lot of the calculators so I trust his math.

Use the shape of the tank instead of a half moon. That Pitcalc uses that shape as it's easiest to calculate .

How big should my doors on the cook chamber be any ideas out there i can go off of?

That's really up to you whether you go with a single large door and counter weight or 2 smaller doors. I would make the top cut 1'' past tdc so that water doesn't try to run inside the CC and the bottom cut 1'' lower than 3 o clock so that the rack is at the widest point of the tank. Also you don't want you racks over the BP gap so I normally stop the door cut just before the BP opening and seeing as I'm a little OCD, I stop the other end of the door the same distance from the end of the tank so that it looks centered.

Also is it easier to cut off one end to install baffle plate or just go through the cc doors?

I usually put the BP in before I install the FB seeing as the end is already open. I would rather install it through the CC doors than cut the end bell off and have to weld it back on. You'll have to install it in a few pieces and weld it solid once you get it in there but that's not a problem, a lot of guys do it that way. As for a stand or wheels, that depends on how much you intend on moving it and the style of wheels depends on the surface that you'll be moving over. These things get very heavy and are pretty hard to move around.
