Hello from Nebraska

Post by Slatusa » November 20th, 2018, 12:21 pm

Been here for awhile and first time posting. Here's my first attempt at a build that is now a couple seasons old. The whole unit was built using nothing but a old flux core welder, angle grinder, and a bench grinder. I'm now slowly working on a 300g offset reverse flow with a warming box.

Welcome! I do my best work with a torch, hammer, and a stick welder.....no grinders, tape measures, squares, or any of that fine tune stuff =))

Some things I make perfect and some I just make......looking forward to your next project.

Welcome to the crew.

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford

The classic look. I like it. I know the feeling, I don't have a shop at home and limited tools and space. Hopefully i can still build something usable

I can’t even listen to you guys....my ocd kicks in every time I’m a tad off. I may have to go buy another carpenter square just thinking about it!

I can't ever find a decent square, every one is either L shaped or triangular... so I just gotta estimate.
