Future Project...
A buddy of mine wanted to build a "Monster Bus" and he found this 1948 chevy school bus. We went and picked it up yesterday. Plans are to put it on 40" wheels and try to make it street legal. After he is done with the restore he wants me to build a smoker/ grill that will come down out of the back of the bus and be lowered to the ground using hydrolics

That looks like one heck of a project!!
40's are going to be a tall order. No pun intended. He could probably go with a set of 24" spinners and some low profile street strip tires on it.
That thing has the old flat glass windshield and a flat plywood door instead of the bi-fold entry door .

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.
