best type/ material of casters

I'm about to order the casters for my build and was curious what guys think is the best type of casters for a patio smoker that will be on my pool deck virtually all the time. So basically just a small amount of rolling around here and there. I was looking at something like these

It says they are polyurethane on a steel hub. From what I can find online it seems like as long as they aren't constantly wet they should be ok as far as rusting ect goes, but is there something else that would be better for outdoors?

Nothing wrong with them if that is the style you are looking for. Should hold up ok, are nicely rated and won’t mar the deck.

I’ve never had much luck or need for a locking caster for outdoor use. My experience has been that the mechanism either gums up with dirt or rusts and quickly becomes unusable. But that is just my 2 cents, a lot of people love them.

More then anything I was just unsure of what material is going to hold up outside in Florida. Wasn’t sure if some sort of hard rubber, phenolic or polyurethane would be better for the elements

Well put it this way... you'll start out with whatever is on those wheels and probably over time end up with steel rims. Not a problem

Nothing in that price range is going to be indestructible. Plan on changing them out when they go bad.
