Is there an easier way to stuff insulation into the frame

I remember seeing on the forum someone found an easier way to get the insulation into the frame. I can’t seem to find it. If anyone can help it will be appreciated.

I cut it into strips with a razor knife and put it in. Works well as far as I can tell.

I made a stuffin’ stick out of a broom handle and a old bicycle handlebar grip.

so far I’ve just been loading it in by hand and using a 1x1 piece of aluminum (I had it as scrap) to shove the insulation down.

I had to figure out real quick on how to get the insulation into the tubing after to no avail would the insulation slide into the tubing trying to stuff it from one end…So I came with a method where I used a piece of vinyl siding and cut it down to the interior width which helped take all the fuss/cursing out of the equation…I knew it would work I just had no idea as to how well it would work…

All the tubing is insulated
Seeing how there were a couple times I had the senior citizen moment where after getting the tube welded in place I had to go back and cut the weld and add the insulation...So nothing like doing the job twice...LOL

Just my 2 cents, but it is much better to ‘pull’ the insulation in rather than stuffing/jamming it in. Insulation will loose much of its properties if it’s fluffy consistency is lost since it needs to be able to trap air within its fibers to work as designed.

I just pulled the batts apart and stuffed them in with a piece of 1/2 inch stock
