New guy here
I'm new to this forum and I'm getting ready to start my first smoker build out of a 500 gallon water tank and advice would be greatly appreciated

Take a peek at the plans if your the type that likes detailed plans...if not, check out the calculators, read up on as many builds as you can design your own and get to work! Take lots and lots of pictures!

We really need to know a little more about what you intend to build before we can offer much advice. A rough sketch with dimensions really help us to understand your vision.
