The rubber allows it to roll more easily over small rocks and Debris on the patio and it does not mark the tile, cement pad or my textured shop floor. It has a needle bearing in the hub and has held up nicely for me as they are almost 4 years old at this point. They are 2” wide and 6” diameter and rated for way more than I need for my 1200lb pit.
