Image door back in place, took abit of frustration to get it to fit again,,, using 1 1/2 x 1/4 strap to trim out door, and 1 inch header wrap for gasket, good for 2000 degrees

Image thats where it sits till the weekend, have a couple options on trailers i am waiting for, the cc is 54 x 24 inch, fb is 22 x 24, need to cut fb door and make food racks, dampers for fb to cc and cc, what do ya think about dampers for fb and cc, thought about sliding for cc but dont know yet,,,,,, i just build as i go,

Its what I am use to using....seems to be the simplest way to control temp... :beer:

got the racks built need to still put stops on them, i get excited when the meat is done and wouldnt wanna fling the racks on the ground...Image

Image thats my mascot, he is preprepping the cooker, also decoy to attract more pigs,,,,cant wait to fire it up, getting the fb end waterjetted with the door cut out and air vent, will get them tuesday and finish main smoker, then got to clean it all up deburr it and maybe trick wife into scraping the paint off, any ideas on getting that to happen are welcome......

Thanks S1, you guys have given alot of good ideas and motivation, Dcman, Daughter comes home from corpman school in a couple weeks, so i need to have done to feed all her friends, she is the fire making me get it done, thanks again to you all that post great pics to get ideas from, and a banner will be put on the trailer for smoker builders for the appreciation,,,,, have a great week all
