Cool touch on the handles. Is the ash going to fall through the slotted floor of the FB or do you have something else going on ?

Thanks!

Air coming in up thru those slots. Ash going down.

That 1” plate with the slots is the 24x24” square cut out of the facade.

Confession.... I copied the air thru the floor thing from the Lou Ann build on here.

No sir. It will sit behind our farmhouse. My brother and nephews will use it on occasion, as will I. Poured a slab and will have a shed covering over it. I plan on 4 legs of 4x4 square tubing (1/4”)
Total weight should be about 3400 lbs. I don’t see anyone walking off with it. Lol

And thanks for the nod to the cutlery

I suspect HHH is not to concerned about me taking his knife customers. Lol.

That Turkey looks awesome. I’m thinking about doing one next weekend as we’ll be at the lake cabin for thxgvng w no smoker. Unless I can finish my current build and trailer it north.

Welded front and back bottom
Sides rest on the 1/4” walled 2x2 tubing. No way to weld that tubing to the tank wall, but it’s stable and not going anywhere
