Dacolson and shearman I wanted to say thank you for helping me on my smoker build it turned out way better than my expectations! So thanks to you guys! It works absolutely awesome. Here is the updated pictures of the final build now I just need to figure out how to get the door lighter so it’s not so doggone heavy. Lol i’m thinking maybe a ATV Winch so you don’t have to lift it.

beautiful build JB1. Very well done.

If you search for counterweights on the forum, you will find a bunch of options out there. They are SUPER helpful for these larger/heavier doors.

Congrats on a great product.
