Update on this. I use Walrus Oil for some woodwork finish in the house - butcher block, cutting boards mostly. I did some clean up from yesterday’s Super Bowl cooking and left the rag on the counter. 2 hours later, the kitchen is full of smoke. The rag is smoldering. Threw it on top of the chimney on my rocket stove I use for burning twigs/etc and woosh ... 2 hours on the counter!! It’s a mix of coconut oil, beeswax, mineral oil and vitamin e. Insane! Glad I didn’t do this last night before I went to bed. Super paranoid now.dacolson wrote:Yikes! Was it on there during a smoke? I've heard the same. don't store them balled up in a bucket.
