1 or 2 doors

I’m thinking about the design voor my offset 24x48 inch.
I’m contemplating 2 doors.
As you don’t really use the first so many inches close to FB anyway.
Thought I could put a small door there to remove water pan maybe.
Then have a bigger door for the meat.

But you don’t see this that often, is there a reason for that?

Pros? Cons?

Because doors are a pain in the butt to put in.

also if you put a baffle at the throat to direct the heat straight up towards the top of the CC, it makes the end closer to the FB much more usable. If you look through dacolson's build thread, he has some pictures of how he built his.

Your proposed build is not big enough to make 2 doors feasible. Highly recommend just one door as putting in two will be quite restrictive.
