We love to cook and we love to hear what others are cooking. With pics of course!

Cherry smoked Swineapple.

I've not done these before but decided to give it a try for the lulz if nothing else. :ar!
I brined these pork tenderloins over night and gave them a decent coat of Killer Hogs Hot BBQ rub.
I'll have more later.

Everything there looks ace - apart from the pineapple ;)

I'm very much firmly in the camp of fruit doesn't belong with meat - that means no cranberry sauce on turkey, or apple sauce on pork.

Do you ever try making your own rubs? We experiment a lot with ours.

Sheff, off and on over the years I've made a lot of different rubs. This spring I decided to throw some business Malcom's way. He of How to BBQ Right Youtube fame. I've been using 4 of his beef and pork rubs plus his vinegar based BBQ sauce. His stuff is pricey but of good quality.

So I got these put together and on the kamado. I've got a doctors appointment this afternoon so I don't know how much I'll be around. I'm going to hand this cook off to my youngest boy which might prove interesting. :?

Interesting.......I am not a fan of pineapple but the flavor that is going to give off is something I would try. Looks good!

Wow, this was really neat in many ways and somewhat middling in others. Really good meal and learning experience. Me like. :grillin:

It looks great!! I personally like different types of fruits with different meats but my family isn't crazy about most combinations.

I love grilled pineapple. Goes great with teriyaki smoked salmon.

I stumbled on a winning combo for baby backs and fruit. I made a bbq sauce with apricot preserves as the base. Then I crutched them with orange juice and butter. Those ribs were very light and fruity......it was a recipe I tossed together because it's what I had on hand. I made sure to write it down fast before I forgot it. They were great.

I'm glad that you remembered it well enough to write it down. I'm normally on the opposite side of the spectrum where I create something that's great but I don't remember the formula. =))
