Steel prices are still high but you got some time tied up in your puzzle. Neat idea tho!

I got a lot more time than money. :D

This one's not getting sold, so it don't really matter what it looks like, as long as it works.

Baby come-along to the rescue again! That little football shaped piece at the top was bowed out about an inch, baby come-along pulled it right in. :D

Thanks, Bro! It came out OK. There's a little bit of a kink right at the football, but the rest of it is pretty good. I'll shine it all up with the grinder, won't even hardly be able to tell it. Might need to push that kink out a little with the bottle jack, otherwise it's gonna bug me. I was planning on putting that spot on the bottom at the throat, but it didn't fit all the way around like that.
I just got the base all tacked on. It's getting two different size of wheels, using up all my leftovers. :D

I got the short wheels a half inch too high, somehow. Good thing they're just tacked, fix 'em tomorrow.

Here's the Moberg backyard pit walkthrough video re baffle idea; (looks like top of firebox is attached a couple inches below grate level, it's insulated)

I got all the underneath work done today and flipped it over on the wheels. There's still a ton of stuff to do, though. I might be able to get it in under two weeks, but it's going to be close.
I may have to apply for a patent on the Hogaboom Flap. :D

I want adjustable flaps!!! =)) :points:

You guys really tear through 'em though. And you know what they say; it takes 10% of the energy to get the first 90% done, and 90% of the energy to get the last 10% done! If I were closer to you one of yas' would be building mine. (My 100 gallon lifer being built in a backyard shop now, but they started it last March)

The Hogaboom Flap is totally adjustable, Brewmaster. You need to look closer. :D

An adjustable flap on the bottom would be pretty awesome, though.

Thanks, Brewmaster!
Got the door handle and stop put on today, buffed all the rust off the stack and welded it on, and just about got the cook and fire grates finished. Trying to cross things off the punch list and see if I can get it finished in under 2 weeks. Today was day 11.
