:LG:
Nice job on them ribs!

How was the root beer marinade? Did the root beer really stand out in the taste?

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

You could taste a nice combination of the root beer and of the mesquite. Neither was over powering. I forgot to pull the sticks out before putting them on the smoker. Still have no idea why the butcher put them in there. The root beer pork wasn't as moist as the spare ribs, but I also didn't inject them either. I would do them again for sure. Maybe next time I'll throw a little injection in them however.

I am not a fan of soda pop at all but Mac try Dr. Pepper HOT with a touch of lemon squeezed into it - it's actually perty good that way ... otherwise - not so much. :)

Then a few drops of cinnamon schnapps in it should make you feel right at home .... In the Dr. Pepper - NOT the beer ... :D
