This is my "toy" :D
I need to clean up a bit, it's very dusty.
A couple of welds need to be repaired and need to be re season it.
Then comes the play with the deflector plates.

That thing is gonna cook like a champ, it looks well-proportioned! Looks great for your first build too. linseed oil finish? Will you cook in it soon? I'm in to see how she cooks with and without that plate in there!

Good stuff! I hope she performs as good as she looks. Speaking of which, love your name laser-cut into the firebox door ala Franklin, food chamber door handle is a nice touch as well

I designed my logo and a friend cut it with a laser. The handle was made by my brother-in-law, but unfortunately it cracked when I screwed it on. I need to make another one with him.

Hello guys!

It was a bit long, but I rebuilt the smoker a bit.
I replaced the chimney 7" to 6", and i modified the stack collector a bit.
I also "played" a little with the fb to cc opening.
I also did a biscuit test with the "Franklin baffle"
Not sure if the fire management were good, i think the temperature difference from the chimney to the opening was quite large...ca. 20℃-30℃ (68℉-86℉)
Fourth picture...Green is "Franklin baffle", yellow is the distance from the grate, red area is high temp, blue is the distance of the grate from the fb to cc opening
Is this good, or could there be a problem with the fire management, or with the building? :welder: :(
