Hello From Greenville SC

New member here from Greenville SC. Interested in building my own reverse flow smoker, probably trailer mounted. Like most I will be looking to complete things on a budget... Overall I am a handy do it yourself kind of a person but this project will test me on some skills that I have not tried in a number of years (welding and cutting).

Currently I am smoking on a 16" square vertical with a offset firebox. I picked it up years ago at a local big box and due to cheap construction and thin metal it is fighting its last breaths. Looking to build this one heavier and gain better heat control and make my cooking experience a little smoother / user friendly.

Thanks in advance for the help! I am sure as this gets going for me I will have plenty of questions. I am going to set my plans based on what kind of tank I can find locally and try and design around that for starters.

Welding and cutting is like riding a bike. It will come back to ya after a few monir mess ups. LOL
