SmokenDink's Rub!

Post by Frank_Cox » June 26th, 2012, 8:44 pm

I got a care package in the mail the other day from SmokenDink71 in which he included a 7oz pack of his pork and poultry rub for me to try out. I have not been able to smoke anything with it yet but I did try it tho. I Like It! :needfood: very well rounded and just the right amount of heat. I will post more as I get to use it on something. Thanks Dink! :points:

getting things together slowly but surely here's a pic of a 5 lb bag and 2 lb container, also been working on the label, let me know what you think of the label design because I'm still working on other ideas

Any issue using the Cordon Blu logo? Just a thought.

Did any thoughts in logoizing the Dink name?

well I don't think they would have an issue with me using the chevron since I'm an alumni, but never know and as far as logoizing the name Dink what would you have in mind?

I would check about the logo. It would truly suck to have several thousand printed up and then get a letter from Dowe, Screwem & Howe telling you to cease and desist.

Logoizing - I'm not a graphic artist by any means but perhaps a cursive D or even just playing with some different fonts or word art in Power Point. Something to catch the eye on the label rather then plain text.

These suck, but you get the idea.

Well got home early from the weekend and looky there a sample for me. Thanks SD! I agree with Frank, well rounded with nice heat. :points:
Now to cook with it. Might throw me some chicken parts on the driveway for dinner, that should cook em up in no time!
OK hopefully tommorow, I will give it a try.
