cherry rub

Post by smokendink71 » July 4th, 2012, 2:10 am

made up a new cherry rub tonight and put it on a shoulder I'm doing for the 4th, I'll let everyone know how it comes out. must say it had a very nice red color to it, made a light slather out of honey and my carolina sauce recipe I posted on here a few weeks ago, which is my go to for slather minus the honey, just added the honey for a little sweetness, man did it ever smell good just putting the rub on it.

Dink - you got to get a website for ordering your Rub. Let me know if you need a hand with that.

That rub lends a great color to the meat. You gotta try that on ribs.

That looks awesome!
But I would think a top trained chef could at least use a real plate for a plated shot. :P Just kidding man, i would eat that whatever you served it on! :-bd

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
