TQ, I hope that means it should cook well! :D , I`m doing some chicken thighs and some Lambham at the moment in the smoker, and I put 1/3 of a chimney in it to burn it in a bit. They must of painted it with something as it smells like I cooking! :o , Oh and the bloody rain came back just to piss me off! ~x(

You mean like this one? When me and the old lady first got together its all we could afford to cook on....we didn't have money for propane for the stove....works great and did us service for about a year...still in super condition!!

Bass Pro shop carries one by Lodge, I've looked at it more than a few times. Give us a report card on what you think of its performance. I know the Lodge version is built like a tank and yours looks to be the same.

If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

:ymdaydream: I love Bass Pro Shops!!, I believe MO has the biggest one!

S1, that is mostly why I bought it!, there`s only 2 of us at home now! :bigfoot:

DC do you always store your BBQ stuff with the Electric Eel cables? :-s , yours looks like it is along the same size but the castiron helps to radiate the heat while cooking, so they say anyways! :homer:

hopefully today Frank, it`s the Queens birthday weekend here! :-B :D

I grew up grilling on a hibachi just like that one - burned my first steak on one - Dad made me eat it too - NEVER made that mistake again... :D

If that paint is a problem then throw it in your next trip to the sandblaster - I can't remember EVER having any paint on the one we had at home...

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D

I have that exact model! My Stepdad had it on his apartment balcony when he worked in Cali. He then gave it to me when they moved back home. It's what I take camping, I trust it more than I trust those old fire rings they have at most camp sites. I can fit 4 burgers on mine, which works out since there's 4 of us. Anyway, it's good to see another one out there.
